Meet the team!
CS Hands-On is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a mission to make computer science education an inclusive subject for all students, not just those with access to technology. After months of brainstorming and inventing, we built our curriculum to teach computer science in an engaging, yet technology-free way. At CS Hands-On, we're all about inclusivity!
Chloe Yan is an incoming first-year student at Carnegie Mellon enthusiastic about leveraging technology for social impact and expanding access to quality education. In her spare time, she enjoys going on hikes, baking banana bread, and diving into self-help books.
Fara Yan is an incoming first-year student at Carnegie Mellon passionate about using computer science for social good. When she’s not designing or coding, you can find her tending to her plants, distance running, and jamming out to R&B music!
